Join The Ella Baker School Team @ Ronald McDonald House Kids Charity Fun Run - Registration is Open!

On Saturday, November 9, 2019, at 9:00 am, children ages 4–17 are invited to participate in the 21st Annual Ronald McDonald House Kids Charity Fun Run to benefit Ronald McDonald House New York. This is a great opportunity for kids to have fun and raise money for an important cause. The mission of Ronald McDonald House is unique: They provide temporary housing for children and their families while the children undergo cancer treatment at New York’s renowned medical centers. In almost 40 years of service, more than 35,000 children from all 50 states and 70 countries around the world have called the House their “Home-away-from-home.”

Firefighters will line the course. All participants will receive a T-shirt and running number when they enter. Upon finishing the race, there will be finishing ribbons and snacks

Ella Baker participated in the Kids Charity Run for the first time last year. It was a gorgeous, crisp, fall day. Our initial goal was to sign up 20 kids and raise $2000. By the morning of the race, 40 kids had raised $6,720! I was so proud of our families and the kids had a great time!
